Coaches Clinic-Thanks Giving Weekend

I just got this from Stratton Mountain School:

Stratton Mountain School is excited to offer a one-day comprehensive on-snow clinic for club coaches throughout the region. The camp will feature an introduction to the latest on-snow early season progressions, training course suggestion and a chance to take a few early season runs.

Pavel Stastny, a three time Olympic Team coach will be leading the clinic. Pavel has extensive knowledge of the latest technique. He is a former instructor at the USSA National Coaches School and has been at SMS since 1991.


Schedule: 8:15 Meet in West Wing of Stratton Base Lodge
8:30-11:30 On-snow progressions
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00-2:30 Training course setting instruction
2:30-4:00 Free skiing
4:30 Reception and video presentation
by Pavel Stastny

Cost: The clinic will cost $60, which covers lift ticket, lunch and the reception.

If you are interested in attending the coaches clinic, or know someone who is, it is critical that registrations start coming in NOW. If they don't get more registrations, it will be canceled.

I know many people said they wanted to attend, but you have to let them know that you are participating.

I can't think of a better way for coaches to get ready for the upcoming season!
