Welcome to the Tri-State Alpine Ski Racing Association’s new Message Board. The board script has been updated to provide increased functionality. Perhaps the single most exciting feature of this new board is the ability to subscribe to a forum or topic and have an e-mail notification sent directly to you when someone posts. There are numerous other features also available to users designed to enhance the service the board provides our membership. As before, all visitors desiring to post or respond to a topic will have to register. Unfortunately, users registered on the old message board will also have to re-register on the new board. To seed the various categories and forums of the new board, some of the more recent postings from the old board have been moved to the new board.
The Tri-State office plans use the Tri-State Administration Category to notify the membership of important membership related news and announcements. All members are encouraged to subscribe to these forums to guarantee being kept up to date on membership related topics. It is envisioned the other special interest areas will be used similarly, i.e. all officials should subscribe to the Officials forum to receive important notices from the Alpine Officials Chair, John Higgins.
As with the previous message board, the registration process is only to provide a method of moderating the posts to the board. The information provided during the registration process will not be used for any other purpose.
We hope you find this new forum keeps you better informed of issues important to you. Occasionally as issues arise additional information will be posted here regarding the use and features of the board. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions you can e-mail them to webmaster@tristateskiracing.org.
