As hopefully all of you know, J3's that qualify for post season events need a Super G camp if they want to particiapte fully in Finals or Junior Olympics. I am hoping everyone that has information about such camps takes the time to share that information in this forum.
Thanks!

I know there is a camp at Stratton on February 4-5, followed by a race on the 6th. Tri State racers who are interested need to have their coach submit a recommendation for them to John Ogle, email address: tristateski345@yahoo.com.
Better to do that sooner or later. I do not know if John has established any deadlines yet for those recommendations.

For anyone interested in participating in the Super G race at Stratton on February 6th, you need to register for that on your won. If your name is submitted to participate in the Super G camp, and you are accepted, your name will not be submitted for the race. The two events are TOTALLY separate.
On the same hand, if you do not get into the camp February 4-5, it is up to you if you want to register for the race anyway.
According to the Comp Guide, the first 175 racers will be accepted. So don't dawdle! Send in your registration today! ;)

Since there are so many people still looking for speed camps, I tool a look at the NYSEF website. It appears that they are hosting one at Gore, on February 7 & 8, followed by a race on the 9th.
If you are interested, you should call right away, at 518-946-7001.

Is the process the same for J1 & J2's - Do they need a coaches recommendation to attend a Super G camp in another state?

Hi Liz,
You might want to post that question in the J1-2 forum. I am not sure Galen reads this. Since he is the J1-2 Chairman, I am sure or one of the other readers of that forum could answer that for you.
