One of the most frequently asked questions in the Fall is: What is the best way to prepare for the Referee exam?
Here is my standard recommendation:
Download and study the 3 documents identified below. Together they cover just about everything that might appear on the exam. Perhaps the most important part of the preparation process is taking the time to read through chapter 7 of the Alpine Competition Guide (Competition Regulations) completely and thoroughly. By the way, the exam is open book so you can have the Alpine Competition Guide and the Alpine Teaching Review and Update on hand during the exam. (Use of the Referee Study Guide is not permitted during the test.)
