Dear Friends: After a great deal of deliberation between myself, on behalf of the FIS Technical Delegates and Bob Calderwood on behalf of the USSA Technical Delegates together with imput from senior members of the Alpine Executive plus a little guidance from a Pro-FIS Member; at this time we would like to see all TD's and ROC members comply with the following methodology:

When ever a formal Team Captains Meeting is to be undertaken where there also is to be a formal draw of athletes - notwithstanding the availability of a computer display of athletes - unless such display is capable of presenting a display of the full field of athletes, a display board presenting the full field should be utilized. It is even suggested that when programs are developed that afford the opportunity to display the full field that a board be available as a backup. Please note: This concept was addressed and approved by USSA.

We all look forward to our computer programs being able to meet the demands of this concept in the near future.
